🦯1933 CHICAGO WORLD’S FAIR • HALL of SCIENCE-CENTURY of PROGRESS • Wood Cane
A souvenir of the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. 36" in length, a single piece of wood with a steam bent handle. Smooth finish with normal wear. Original metal tip on the tapered end is s there but worn — I have added a new rubber tip that can be removed. The three pictures on the metal (looks like copper) label are of The Hall of Science and Carillon Tower, symbols of the Fair with the words "HALL OF SCIENCE CHICAGO 1933 A CENTURY OF PROGRESS ". Cane is lightweight but because of size will ship USPS Priority Mail.
Condition: Cane Excellent, Metal tip is worn (someone way before me fastened it with brads that were too long and they just bent them. Easy fix). Please see all photographs as they represent an important part of the description. Last picture shows new rubber tip over the original (brass?) metal tip.
Please leave feedback for sellers — it is VERY IMPORTANT — it represents our reputation. I try to be the best, actually I am the best I make it my job to convince you. I can’t do anything about the Post Office — delivery time and service has deteriorated noticeably — I ship immediately. Even if I just got back from there I will drive to the P.O. again for CD. If I do anything wrong, please let me know how I can make it right.
NOTE: If you don’t make an offer how do you know how much I will accept
?
You have pretty much nothing to lose.
