20th century Tlingit headdress regalia with eagle moiety design. All hand beaded and exceptional quality. There are 2 genuine ermines that dangle from the headless. More than likely made in Juneau, Alaska. The buttons are made from abalone shell and blood red Russian trade seed beads in the center. There are 2 center beads missing, but you could easily even out the piece and make it look intentional. The headdress is padded, so it will be comfortable when wearing. There are 2 pieces of hide to tie the piece to your head. Please check out my other great Alaskan rare auctions.
