    Description

    Very nice vintage ukulele that was made in Japan, probably for the tourist trade in Hawaii as it has a Hawaiian Royal Crest decal on the front.  It is a standard soprano uke measuring about 21 inches long and 6.5 inches wide.  It has a paper "Made in Japan" label on the back.  There are no chips or cracks and I only noted a small scuff on the back (seen in pic #5) and a tiny dark spot on the neck.  I do not know what type of wood was used but my best guess is acacia or mahogany.  I don't think it was played very much as it shows no wear on the finger board or strum marks. It has new strings and I am including a "Korg" chromatic Tuner.
