Vintage Antique Native American? Leather Fringe Shorts Skirt & Vest Outfit

Unfortunately age and origin are unknown on this set. It does have damage such as staining, oxidation and missing clasp components. When laying flat the skirt/shorts measure approximately 14” at the waist, 18” at the hips and 28.5” from top to bottom. The vest measures approximately 16.5” from armpit to armpit, 13” from shoulder to shoulder and 14.75” from top to bottom. I am unsure is this is Native American related or not.
