    Vintage
    Cavanagh Hats
    octagonal hat box, 13” x 15” x 7” high, dating to the 1950s or 1960s. Cavanagh imprints in gold on black cardboard. The box comes complete with the cardboard platform inside for the proper upside-down storage of your upscale Cavanagh fedora or homburg. The box is in used condition, with some splitting at the seams and other signs of age and wear; the lid has some damage that has been repaired on the inside with clear packing tape. Other than that, the box is still quite usable.
