Pegasus Winged Horse Pole Topper Worlds Fair 1933

Description

This lot is a Metal (cast Aluminum? Magnets don’t stick) Pegasus or Winged Horse Pole Topper. I was told (for what it’s worth) these where from Century of Progress Worlds Fair in Chicago 1933-34, and where used on poles in some capacity, however I haven't been able to locate any photos showing them to corroborate that story. That being said, This is a great Art Nouveau Pegasus piece, and a very interesting conversation piece to ad to your collection, and is a work of art in its own right, even if it’s not World’s Fair! it is aprox. 18" Tall and 15.5" wide
There is some white on it in spots, not paint, maybe Lime scale? Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
