TODAY IT IT USUALLY WORN  INSIDE AS A SLIPPER.  THEY ARE LINED ON THE INSIDE WITH SOFT FABRIC AND THE OUTSIDE HAS DURABLE TANNED LEATHER WITH FUR. GREAT QUALITY. HAND STITCHED. MADE FOR COMFORT. THEY ARE 4.5 INCHES FROM HEEL TO TOE.
