Koaloha KSM-01 Solid Koa Pineapple Soprano Ukulele

I’m downsizing my instrument collection, and have a couple of rare “vintage” Koaloha ukuleles for sale.
This one is a solid koa Pineapple Soprano ukulele in very good condition. It was handmade in May 2008, back when Koaloha had the materials to still make all solid koa ukuleles! No ebony or rosewood found on this uke!
The pineapple shape is especially rare because Koaloha only produces these “seasonally” and which season they mean by that is up for anyone’s guess.
The only issue on this instrument was in its manufacturing—near the sound hole, you can feel the raised seam where they married the two mirror pieces of wood for the body. I purchased it this way, and it in no way affects the sound of the ukulele. However, I have reduced the price to reflect this small cosmetic defect.
These older Koaloha ukes are getting harder to find and they literally don’t make them the same way anymore. Good luck with the bidding! Aloha!
