    Description

Understand there a whole lot of time consuming handwork involved in making these bags. Not just time to cut and stitch but to design the bag so it is balanced when worn. Time to tan the tail and cut/polish the conch. Doing things traditional is very time consuming when you do them correctly. The only items used that were not personally produced were the gray and green hide pieces those were tanned by done by a small hand tanner in Colorado as was most of the leather used in other other bags listed. They specialize in traditional style tanning of wild caught deer antelope sheep/goat and domestic buffalo. .
Handmade belt bag for deerstalker dance or add to your collection. 13+ inches long. Forest green buffalo leather with 5+ in. gray fringe. Use able pouch area about 4 x 5. Long flap has garment tanned deer tail and large abalone concho.
Hammered silver rivets decorate lower portion below pouch.
Traditionally this would be used to carry a hunter's medicince to insure a successful hunt.
Pouch is hand cut and assembled with sinew rivets and hide glue. Has been smudged and comes filled with white sage.
This bag is made to last and take a lot of wear and tear. Some thing to be passed down to the next generation ......
This bag took about a month to complete.
