    Description

Lovely Native American Indian Northern Ute hand fringed gabardine shawl.  Gabardine is a very sturdy material.  The body of the shawl is medium heather brown and is adorned with bright yellow fringes.  This is a full size shawl measuring 60" X 58" after hemming not counting the fringes.  The fringes add another 13  1/2" in length all around the shawl.  The material has been neatly hemmed.  The fringes are attached through this hemmed portion.  Hand fringed with yellow 13  1/2" long chainette.  Each fringe is doubled so that there are actually four 13  1/2" chainette fringes hanging from each hole.  These are spaced at 1/2" intervals.  Beautiful! From my personal collection.  Designed and hand finished and fringed by Ruth Cuch (Deceased).  Please note:  The various pictures only show about 1/4 of the entire shawl.                            We have been dealing in Native American Indian Arts & Crafts for 30 years. We have now retired and are in the process of selling our personal collection and extensive inventory of authentic handmade jewelry, northern tribes beadwork, baskets, rugs and miscellaneous items.
