Description

This AMO Abbott Wavescan ACV Wavefront System is complete with Wavescan instrument, computer, software, monitor, keyboard, mouse and high/low electric table. Excellent cosmetic and power tested condition. Powers on, boots up and I am able to navigate the software without a password. When I click the "acquire" tab a hardware failure is detected. The internal "self test" screen show most functions pass however a fail notice is given for PCB Fogging Solenoid, Fixation Target and laser (see pic). No clue what these errors mean or how difficult to rectify them? The electric hi/low table is working great. Will require freight shipping.

When I click the "acquire" tab a hardware failure is detected. No clue what these errors mean or how difficult to rectify them? The electric hi/low table is working great. I believe this system is worth the effort to get up and running but I am selling it for Parts and/or Repair.

Condition & Testing
This system looks complete and there is a certification tag attached with a January 2021 expiration so it hasn't been long since this system was in use. Cosmetically in very good condition with some normal sign of use but no actual visible damage. I plugged it in and it powers right up and boots up the software without requiring a password. I am easily able to navigate the screens and I see some of the testing history is dated 2020 and I am able to review past imaging and test results. When I click the "acquire" tag a window appears stating "A hardware failure was detected in your instrument, so the Acquire capability is not available". All other tabs are working. When I click the "utilities" tab I am able to conduct a "Self test" which indicates the cameras and motors pass but shows Fail for PCB Fogging Solenoid, Fixation Target and Laser (see pic) . No clue what the any of the errors mean or what it will take to rectify the issues. The high-low electric table is very nice with some sign of use but works perfect using the up/down buttons on the front. The Wavescan instrument screw on lens cap is present and installed. There was a small convex lens laying at the base of the Wavescan instrument when I received this system (see pic). Not sure it even goes with this system but I am including it. This looks to be a very nice system and I believe it is likely worth the effort to get it up and running. Lot of good parts if nothing else.
