    Description

Chef Piggy Tail says, Try all of our Microwave Pork Rind Puffies in 7 Squealin' Flavors: Original, Cinnamon Sugar, Sassy, Smokey BBQ, Jalapeno, Chipotle & Habanero. Yes, we did say Microwave Pork Skins. Imagine having freshly cooked pork rinds anytime, anywhere. Each package of our microwave pork rinds will make approximately 4 cups when puffed in your microwave. Pork rinds are a real snack food with less fat, less carbs, less calories and more natural protein than many other snacks such as potato chips and microwave popcorn. One key benefit of microwave pork rinds and pork skins is the fullness factor. When you snack on pork rinds you can eat fewer calories to achieve a feeling of fullness. Chef Piggy Tail's seasonings are all-natural, preservative free, gluten free and contains no MSG. Unlike traditional pork rinds that are fried in lard, Chef Piggy Tail's are a healthier, low carb snack alternative. Each 1 ounce serving offers an incredible 9 grams of protein, 0 carbs, 33% less sodium, 65% less fat and 40 less calories- definitely a delicious and satisfying snack to "squeal" about gleefully. Our pork rind serving size is 1/2 ounce (about 1 cup when puffed); however, with Chef Piggy Tail's Microwave Pork Rinds, you can cook and eat as many or as few pork rinds as you want. No waste. Empty package onto a PAPER plate. Spread the pellets in a single layer. Consider your first batch to be a test batch as microwave ovens cook at different rates. Start with a time of 3 minutes. (If you cook less than the whole package example ¼ cup will puff in 90 seconds in the microwave) If some of the pellets don't puff up all the way, or if a few burn, adjust the time up or down by ten or fifteen seconds. They don't make any noise as they puff up. When they finish cooking they will snap, cracklin' and pop as they cool! This will continue for a few seconds. Let sit for about 30 seconds after cooking to achieve that crunchy taste. If you pop up more than you can eat, keep them in a zip lock bag for later. The microwave pellets should not be refrigerated and may be stored up to 1 year at room temperature.Don't have a microwave? No problem. Our Chef Piggy Tail's Microwave Pork Rinds can be baked, too. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Layer pork rind pellets in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake for 5-10 minutes.
