    Description

    Two vintage postcards with sepia-toned photos from the Field Museum of Natural History. Both postcards have green, one-cent "Chicago Century of Progress / 1833-1933" stamps. Mailed from the Chicago World's Fair in 1933 to Tunnel Hill, Georgia. Both postmarked July 14, 1933.

    Light-colored skin, fair hair, and tall stature are characteristic of the Nordic group, which forms the basic population of northern Europe. The head is long with a finely arched skull. The nose is straight, the chin is prominent, and the eyes are blue or gray in color.
