    Description

Vintage 1933 Chicago Century of Progress Radio Flyer Souvenir Toy Wagon.  World's Fair.
Manufactured by the Radio Steel &
    Mfg
    Co. of Chicago, Illinois.
This has the original orange paint.  There have been no touchups.
The steel used is very substantial.  It is not thin like many tin toys from Japan and elsewhere.
The decals on the interior and on both outsides are in very good condition.  There is little loss of detail.
The silver parts including the handle, steering yoke, and axle brackets have some light rust and darkening.  The rubber tires are very dry and cracked with age, one has a flat spot from sitting on a shelf, but no chunks of tires are missing.  This is usual for the age of this item.
Overall this is in excellent condition for its age.
This was my father's when he was a child, purchased when he was seven years old.  He played with it, then later I played with it, but we always were careful to keep it nice.  It was never abused by leaving it outside overnight.
There are no dents and no distortion from being stepped on, etc.
The body of the wagon is 4" long, 1-7/8" wide.and 1-5/8" high including the wheels.
The handle extends out to the front another 3".
(The photographs were taken with the item sitting on two layers of fuzzy cloth.  This makes the tires look like they are flat.)
There may be defects from play.  The pictures show additional details and are considered part of this description.
You will likely see very few of these in as good a condition.
