1869-S Liberty Seated Dime, Choice Uncirculated, certified PCGS MS-63.  F-102, Weak S, R-4
.  No PCGS attributed coins above XF-45,although they certainly exist in un-attributed holders in Unc grades.
A flashy, lustrous example of this date, one PCGS considers “readily available”.  Considering an original mintage of 450,000, versus a suggested survival in all grades circ & Unc of perhaps 300 coins, I am not sure what they mean by “available”.  1860’s dated Dimes from San Francisco are certainly not everywhere, and I do not see many at all, let alone in this grade.  Just a light, general scuffing in the fields.  Nine coins in the grade and only 21 better at PCGS, as of June, 2020.  Oddly enough, none of the 9 MS-63's have ever appeared at auction, and only one of the 6 MS-64's since 2006.
