    Description

    1852 Liberty Seated Dime, Repunched Date (RPD), F-104.  Nice clear obvious repunching below the "2". Very scarce, Fortin rates this an R-5; currently he indicates on his website that he has seen only one example of this die pairing, that coin (PCGS XF-40) being in his reference set.  The example offered here seems roughly equivalent, being an attractive original EF coin.  Certified PCGS XF Details, for a VERY old, and what I feel is a minor, scratch on the Obverse.  This shows some of the strictness
    recently evident in PCGS's grading.  Pricing such a variety is a bit difficult, so my Asking Price may be taken as an opinion as to potential value, and the opportunity cost of getting it certified.
